Serene is a self-regulation and self-discovery app for neurodivergent minds, available on Google Play and the App Store. This policy explains our data practices — which are as simple as it gets: we collect nothing.
1. About Serene
Serene is a safe space offering exercises, articles, and self-assessment tests to help neurodivergent individuals better understand and regulate themselves. All content — exercises, articles, tests, and tools — is written and reviewed by two licensed psychologists. The app works fully offline and requires no internet connection at any point.
2. Data Collection
Serene does not collect any personal information. Any data you enter or that the app generates — including responses to exercises, test results, and progress tracking — is stored locally on your device and never leaves it. There are no user accounts, no registration, and no sign-in required.
3. Internet Access
Serene does not access the internet. The app requests no network permissions and makes no outbound connections of any kind. Your data stays on your device, always.
4. Permissions
Serene requires no special device permissions to operate. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or any other sensitive system resource.
5. No Third-Party SDKs
Serene contains no analytics libraries, crash reporting tools, advertising SDKs, or any other third-party services. There is nothing in the app that could transmit your data to anyone.
6. Data Deletion
Uninstalling Serene from your device permanently removes all locally stored data. You can also clear all data from within the app via its settings.
7. Not a Substitute for Professional Care
Serene is a self-discovery and self-regulation tool, not a diagnostic or clinical service. While its content is developed by licensed psychologists, the app does not diagnose any condition and does not replace professional medical advice, therapy, or evaluation. If you have concerns about your mental health or neurodivergence, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
